EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
An educational program
of interest to all students of the Irish wolfhound breed will be
presented Thursday evening, July 23, 2009, at 7:30 P.M., at the Day’s
Inn in Lompoc. The presentation will feature excerpts from Betty
Murphy’s discussion of the IW standard, and an opportunity for hands-on
experiences with real hounds. The program will be one hour long, with
additional time for discussion and questions for those wishing to remain

IWAWC SPECIALTY AUCTION
Plan to join us and support the IWAWC’s Silent Auction at its new
location: Elks Lodge, 905 East Ocean, Lompoc 93436. Enjoy the social
hour with a cash bar at 6:30 pm, Friday, July 24, 2009, prior to the
Judges' dinner. Any and all donations will be gratefully accepted, and
can be sent to Susan Marvin, 9402 N. 124th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85259.

or phone: (480) 451-6614 to insure proper acknowledgement. See you all
there! SPECIALTY RAFFLE
There will be a raffle on the show grounds.
Tickets may be purchased both days, the winning tickets being drawn on
Friday, July 24th. We welcome donations to the Specialty Raffle. Items
clearly marked IWAWC Raffle may be sent to Michelle Quesada, c/o Kelly
Cromer, 42011 4th Street West, Suite 3530, Lancaster, CA 93534. If you
prefer to bring your donation to the specialty, please contact Michelle
(310) 629-5478 and let her know what you will be donating.
MEALS
Lunch: Thursday, an assortment of sandwiches, salads, dessert and beverage
will be offered on Thursday for $12.00. On Friday, lunch will available
for purchase on the grounds through WSCS.
Specialty Judges Dinner: The Judges Dinner will be held at the Elks
Lodge, 905 East Ocean, Lompoc, CA 93436, on Friday. Dinner will be
served at 7:30 P.M., preceded by Social Hour and Auction, from 6:30-7:30
P.M. Join us for food, fun, the IWAWC auction, and to hear the
judges’ remarks. Dinner (grilled Tri-tip, BBQ Chicken, or Vegetarian
Lasagna) will be $25.00. We hope to see you there!
